Milk bank at Kings?

Does anyone know if there is still a milk bank at King's and who you can contact about donating milk? No one seems to answer the number on the King's website and all the posts about it are old.

Try calling the NICU at Kings - the breastfeeding midwives there are brilliant and very linked in. And thank you so much for donating milk (if that's what you're doing). My preemie benefited greatly from donated milk and I will be forever grateful to all the women who donate milk x

The lady you need is Judith Calver [email protected] She only works on the milk bank one day / week so there may be a delay in replies. Really hope you can donate, it's a wonderful thing to be able to do.

Just wanted to add that this is a great cause, I donated after my first baby but too hectic/exhausted after my second. Hope it all worked out!

Sadly (after a drawn out attempt to register) Judith told me yesterday that the Kings milk bank is moving so not accepting any new donors for the next few months. Guys and st thomas is prob nearest place now.

What a shame...I sincerely hope the babies in NICU still get the benefit of donor milk. It kept me from losing my mind when I couldn't produce enough milk and I felt utterly helpless.
