Come and Sing Verdi's Requiem with Dulwich Choral Society

Everyone is welcome to come along for an exciting time rehearsing and performing Verdi?s thrilling masterpiece in one day under the direction of Aidan Oliver. We will be accompanied by piano and professional soloists.

Venue: St Barnabas, Calton Avenue, Dulwich Village SE21 7DG - close to North Dulwich station; free parking on Calton Avenue

Admission: Tickets for singer participants: ?20.00, (?5.00 for Students or those in full-time education), audience members welcome (?5 admission)

Schedule for the day:

? 10.15am onwards: Arrive, sign in, collect music, refreshments

? 11am-4.30pm: Workshop rehearsals

11.00am - 12.30pm: Session 1, with warm-up

1.30pm - 3.00pm: Session 2

3.30pm-4.30pm: Session 3 (with soloists)

? 5pm INFORMAL CONCERT PERFORMANCE

Music edition:

We will be using the Ricordi Edition edited by Geoffrey Dunn (LD403). If you have your own copy, please check carefully that you have the correct edition. Otherwise you can hire a copy from us for just ?3.00.

Tea, coffee and cold drinks will be available (free of charge on arrival) and at the afternoon break, with cakes also on offer.

For lunches, there are plenty of local cafes nearby in Dulwich Village, serving drinks and snacks; alternatively, singers are welcome to bring packed lunches and eat them in the spacious foyer area of the church.

Toilet facilities are available at the church.
