Chess or scrabble or bridge?

(that is ED Forum and not anything else!)

Are there any groups that get together to play chess, scrabble or bridge? Can play the first two, would love to learn bridge. Thanks.

I'd love to join a dulwich scrabble club - apparently there was one on EDF a few years ago, but it seems to have vanished, so I'd definitely be up for joining/starting a new one, if there's anyone else interested????

Dulwich Chess Club meet at the 'Ivy House', Stuart Rd, SE15 on a Monday evening 8-11.20. It's a good club and friendly.

i don't know whether this is appropriate for you but the Dulwich and District U3a does have a Scrabble group, meeting regularly in Dulwich, as well as, I think,a bridge group. Other interest groups within the local U3a cover everything from knitting to quizzing, walking to learning a language or visiting museums to discussing politics.

thanks - i've just looked up U3A (! - I haven't been long in the UK and don't know these things) and it's not appropriate - at least, not yet! I just happen to have always had this sad penchant for scrabble! But thankyou anyway...
