Tree & plant expert/surveyor

Hi, not sure what the proper name is for these people but I'm looking for someone who can advise about cutting down a small tree that's very close to my property and similar plant-related things of that nature- anyone used a good firm/person who does that sort of thing?

Hamish Lodge, tree surgeon, would be the person to go to. Recommended on here a lot and rightly so.

He expertly dealt with our locquat tree a few years ago, knowledgable, professional and lovely to deal with.
