Dear yummy mummy,

Early Bloomers is a group childminding setting. Three qualified and experienced childminders offering safe and stimulating care. We work alongside the EYFS, with up to date safeguarding training. We work from Goodrich school and are currently offering spaces to pre School children at Goodrich and after school pick up, this supports us in continuously working with Goodrich parents as local child carers and meet the needs of our local parents. Please enquire further for more information,

Kind regards Tal

When we had a child-minder, they would not go past 6 pm - generally they take from 8 - 6 pm on a full day. One day both of us were very late to do the pick up after school due to horrendous traffic problems and although we rang the child minder, she charged us extra (fair enough) but warned us that if we were more than 5- 10 minutes late on another occasion, she would terminate her contract with us.

    • I was so sick of being ghosted by tradespeople, but contacted Hussein on the advice of a neighbour.  I'm so glad I did. They did a great job, were communicative, started and finished exactly when they said they would and were really tidy and respectful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and great value painter.
    • I think for the English, turtles are salt-water (sea) beasts whereas terrapins are fresh water, but I know e.g. Americans use 'turtle' for all chelonians including tortoises.
    • They're turtle-y different.  😉 They hibernate, burying themselves under mud or at the bottom of the pond. There have been regular sightings in there (and in Dulwich Park) for years and terrapins can live for 15-20 years in the wild, 30+ years in captivity. They are however an invasive species - whether or not the RSPCA or a local wildlife charity would come out to try and trap / remove them is another matter.
    • Hmm they seem to disappear in the winter - and there are some who say that terrapins are a kind of turtle.
