I will be going on maternity leave to have another baby in August, so sadly we will be having to let our wonderful nanny Tatiana go. We wholeheartedly recommend her and think she?d be a real asset to any family looking for a caring, fun, relaxed, reliable, flexible, experienced and very capable carer for your children. She settled into our family very quickly, our son has never been happier and he?s really blossomed under her care. She knows the local area well and has a strong local network.


Tatiana?s looking for a 3 or 4 day position and wants to stay fairly local (we are in Herne Hill / North Dulwich). She?s available from the end of August / beginning September. She can be contacted on [email protected]. And I would be very happy to talk to you about her, feel free to PM me.

      How late is your Christmas Card

      Posted around 12 cards 2 weeks prior to 24th December. Had some responses so know people have received them. Had about 20 cards - mixture of hand delivered and via post. After years of 'nagging' by myself and our daughters, we may have cured hubby of spending £4 plus on individual cards for our immediate family  ( when you have 12 immediate family it costs a bomb) Also as the girls state, they get put in the recycling bad at beginning of January regardless of cost.

      There was a LETS scheme in ED and it ran for a couple of years or so. Trying to remember when it was pre 2000?  A couple of friends joined it, one did baby sitting for exchange for ironing, the other did small painting jobs or simple gardening. There was a set criteria regarding credits,
