The Bellenden Traders are organising the start of the Bellenden Road monthly summer markets, we would like to invite anyone interested in holding a stall to contact us to book a pitch.

We are looking for quality traders with professional practise and products, we aim to give our community a selected variety of wares.

The dates available are:

Saturday 6th June

Sunday 7th June (BIG BELLENDEN LUNCH)

Saturday 4th July

Saturday 1st August

The stall will cost ?40 for the day.

The stall must be self managed with your own rails and tables, bags and sale payments.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact me with the ?40 to confirm your booking.

You are more then welcome to have a pitch together with another person if that suits your type of trade, ie small items such as jewellery with a rail of clothing.

    • I haven't had a rude EVRI delivery but last week I had an unexpected delivery at 10.42 pm. He didn't ring the bell or knock on the door (or rattle the letter flap) but just took a photo and put the box down.  If it hadnt been for the door camera giving us a beep we would never have known there was a parcel ready to sit there all night.
    • Sorry if I’m being slow but there’s no point in having a gate then is there?  Would have thought it was basic manners to respect someone’s property
    • I didn't say wedge it "slightly" open. I meant to wedge it fully open.
    • I have a rescue Spanish greyhound (galgo) from the charity mentioned above. You can contact Greyhounds in Need or one of the more local Kent greyhound rescue charities. They are fantastic family dogs. They do love walkies 2 or 3 times a day but they actually don't need to be walked too far and then they will happily loaf around on the sofa being very chill. They are brilliant with kids but not recommended if you own a cat as they have a strong prey drive. They also should be kept on the lead in local parks. They prefer to be around other sight-hounds (well my one does) and there are loads of local sighthound owners in Peckham, Crystal Palace etc and a very lively WhatsApp group that is brilliant if you need dog sitting as you can usually find someone to do that for free in return for you looking after the dog at a later date etc.
