Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could provide me with any information on nurseries in the Nunhead area. I have one year old twins, and we have had quite a difficult time of it with finding the right nanny. I'm considering the option of sending

them to a nursery. Does anyone know of any good nurseries in the area, and if so, what are the fees?

Thanks.....

My daughter is at stepping stones montessori on Kitto Road, which is about 4mins walk from nunhead station. The fees vary depending on age/number of days, we pay ?700 pcm for a three day week. There is generally a 6-12m waiting list though. Banana Moon near nunhead station is also supposed to be good and I think it's slightly cheaper.

My 3 year old sold has been at Asquith just off of Rye Park for 2 years and he loves it there. It's rated as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and the staff are great, always giving us a summary of what he did that day and where he is in his development.

    • The unnecessary austerity under the coalition, hammering public services, and then subsequent Tory governments not investing when interest rates were rock bottom screwed the country.  These were before COVID and Ukraine which the Tories used as an excuse.  There is no good reason to vote Reform; they have a platform of returning Britain to something it never was. The left of Labour parties, IE Greens and LDs are the only sensible alternative.   This is not letting Labour off the hook; worryingly they already seem to be veering to the right.
