Recommended Posts

Having a clear out, list of everything available below. All from no pet and non smoking household, all good condition with instructions and recently cleaned/washed.

PM me if interested, pick up from Peckham Rye.

Tippitoes door bouncer ?10

Suitable for 3-15 months, as new, ours is in blue.

Leapfrog learn and groove activity centre ?15

This has kept our little one busy for hours, pop them in it and they play with disco ball, book, piano.

Three character bounce table top toy ?7

Paid ?15 for this a couple of months ago, great for when they're first sitting up at the table, has sucker to keep it stuck to the table.

Galt playnest ?10

Fantastic for supporting baby as they learn to sit up, also quite useful for keeping their toys within reach and keeping them in one place before they learn to crawl!

Maxi Cosi Cabriofix car seat in black ?20 NOW GONE

Probably used about 20 times in the last 12 months as we don't use our car that much. Just found the John Lewis receipt and we paid ?93.99 in March last year, been nowhere near any accidents.

Baby rear view mirror for car ?5 or FREE with car seat

Attaches via clip on strap to top of car seat so you can see your baby when using a rear facing car seat.

Philips Avent microwave steriliser ?5 or FREE if buying anything else

Great if you're not sure if you're going to need a steriliser, or if you want a spare for grandparents house or travelling. Has some hard water marking.

Tommee Tippee travel food and bottle warmer/flask ?5

Fits Avent bottles as well as Tommee Tippee, really useful for carrying hot water for bottles and for warming bottle or food.

Prince Lionheart Slumber Bear white noise maker ?10

Blue, an absolute life saver for newborns, plays several different noises including heartbeat, responds to baby's movement, turning itself on and then off after a set period. We didn't use the bear, just the noise unit so the bear is as new.

Buggy mobile ?5

Really simple buggy mobile, mesmerises newborns, and a lovely thing to have for them when they can't focus on more complicated toys. Gets five stars on Amazon and when I used it with mine I could see why, see wimmer-ferguson on there. Clasp/clip is also really good for holding a cover on the visor of the buggy when they're asleep.

Bugaboo bee cocoon ?15

In khaki, includes newborn head support.

Will attach some images, but happy to send specific close ups on request!

    • I wonder where he could be deported to, Hungary the obvious candidate in Europe, perhaps he would get on well with Modi?   Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch and Reform UK leader Nigel Farage both said Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood should look at whether Abd El Fattah's citizenship could be revoked to enable his swift removal from the UK. Farage said in a letter to Mahmood: "It should go without saying that anyone who possesses racist and anti-British views such as those of [Mr Abd El Fattah] should not be allowed into the UK." So just racists views are ok Nige?
    • Always preferred Grace and Favour to the BMC, commented in the past on this and sadly long since gone
    • If it's the same one I'm thinking of, it was a little further down the road towards LL, probably where the Fresh Flower Company is today. I'd forgotten all about it, with good reason. I think it disappeared before Blue Mountain opened and became a pizza place? I once bought a carton of milk from the deli and when I opened it, it was solid. I did get my money back though.
    • But when was it posted?! I haven't posted any this year. I can't bring myself to pay the exorbitant cost of the stamps, and at least I can sort of honestly blame it on illness. If I can't hand deliver them, I send e-cards. I know it's not the same, but it's very much easier. And as for the people who still send pages of closely handwritten letters .... very admirable in terms of the hours it must have taken them to write them,  but they remind me of those spoofs eg x has just passed all their many important exams with the highest marks possible, y has just walked round the world in a week, z has just become the first person ever to be knighted twice, we are about to fly off for our fifteenth exotic holiday this year ....... Or else (or sometimes and) they are full of who has had what illnesses and accidents and other catastrophes. Is this just my relatives and distant friends? Am I somehow attracting these reams of handwritten paper?
