Dressmaker, seamstress needed for alteration

Hello, I need to have an evening dress shortened. It's made of georgette with a polyester lining too. Needs about 8 inches taking off.Can anyone recommend a trusted seamstress/ dressmaker/ tailor/ clothing alteration person who won't charge the earth? Thanks.

I know I'm posting what people seem to post regularly, but hoping for more responses!
