If you want any rubbish removed I can recommend John. He is very quick to get back to you and come and do the job. I have used him twice to remove garden rubbish. His prices are very reasonable, nothing is too much and he is happy to help. John is a very pleasant and polite guy. 07904038332

Hi,

I used John after seeing the post on this forum (and signed up now to leave a recommendation). I send him an email on Thursday and he came straight back to me and then drove by in the evening to give me a quote. The price was extremely reasonable and he came two days after to clear the rubbish which was a mixture of all sorts of waste.

Very friendly guy and would use him anytime in the future without a doubt

I would say to avoid John. He may be cheap but only if he doesn't have other work on. As I've just found out in a very rude manner!

He originally quoted me ?150. I had some trouble getting neighbours permission to use side gate as they were worried about mess and damage. So had to ask a neighbour who's drive backs onto our garden.

I got back in touch with John after a couple of weeks. Who then quoted ?300. Even though the job was now easier 6/8 bags had already been moved to the front of the house by my other half. 10 were bagged up in the back garden. So the pile was a lot smaller. We had also proposed that we put the rubble at the back end of the garden to pass through a removed back garden fence directly into his truck (avoiding the need to barrow the rubble 100ft to the front of the house).

John was awful and rude to me on the phone. Told me he could do it if we were ready right NOW. Which we said would be fine if he wanted to help move the rubble to the back of the garden. But if we moved it as suggested by us (in an attempt to make his job easier) then it would need to be later this afternoon. He then said "the thing is love I have work coming out of my earholes" if you can't do it right now then I don't want to do it! He was pretty much shouting at me on the phone. Very aggressive.

The thing is had he said I'm snowed under this weekend. Can I do one day next week. We would have been fine. I don't understand his manner if her likes recommendations and work to continue "coming out of his earholes"

I've used a lot of people off the back of recommendations on this forum. It's disappointing to come across such an awful tradesman.

    • What is your beef with me ? Why are you asking rhetorical questions?  fighting me but excusing reform? have a look in the mirror  you’ve lost your way
    • I don't need you to tell me to 'fight against' racism.  I know what it looks it like, thank you.  And China would be our enemy whether we were in Europe or not (and has been for a long time), so that's immaterial.  I remember covering an EDL march 12 years ago, when there was a Cons-Lib Dem coalition, so the idea that this is a new problem is rubbish. BUT Reform is doing an excellent job of galvanising a minority in reaction to smug liberals like you, who blame the electorate's collective ignorance for all the country's demons.  What right have you for a moral mandate?
    • Both Labour and Conservatives can remove the threat of a Reform government by making making two major policy promises. And these are .......... (1) categorically state that they will take Britain out of the ECHR and (2) Undertake to remove any new small boat arrivals to Rwanda or wherever else. Reform is basically a single issue party and adopting (1) & (2) would send Reform into obscurity. The country has had enough of our judiciary making a gold-plated interpretation of the ECHR statutes.
    • You fight against by not pretending. By calling it what it is. Instead of slyly pretending they are not racist “actually”  recognise what the country is facing and say “no” why do you even need to ask the question?
