Hi Kat

If you are looking for a place to rent that is a bit special we have a truly unique fully refurbished studio flat that has just come onto the market on Oakhurst Grove which is available immediately. It has been architecturally designed to maximise on space and storage. We have opened up the ceiling to expose the original Victorian beams and brickwork. There is a brand new modern kitchen with washing machine, cooker and induction hob, fridge freezer and built in microwave. The bathroom is also modern and finished to a very high standard. The flat has gas central heating, with contemporary radiators, double glazing and is well insulated.

In the heart of East Dulwich this studio is in the perfect location. Oakhurst Grove is a beautiful Victorian tree lined road which is quiet and offers free parking. Yet you are just minutes away from all the buzz and excitement of Lordship Lane. Local shops and amenities are just a stones throw away, as are buses and rail links which are again all within a very short walking distance. It also has the added advantage that it overlooks The Gardens, a beautiful tree lined garden square with direct unencumbered views all the way down to Peckham Rye Park. It feels private, lofty and tranquil the perfect place to retreat.

We are private landlords so no agent fees will apply. Full deposit and references required plus 1 months rent in advance, available immediately. It is offered on an unfurnished basis at ?1,050 per calender month

Please contact Imelda on 07930 545469.

Many thanks

    • How long is a piece of string?  Depends whether you are building 'new towns' or brown field urban sites. I expect developers, planners and builders know far more than we do.  Where are you getting your information about infrastructure from ?  Your comment on new reservoirs seems more relevant to population expansion and/or climate change.
    • There was a previous thread about them about 6 months ago. Since then, they have been found guilty and fined for illegal street trading and collections in June in the City of London. https://news.cityoflondon.gov.uk/we-r-blighty-pleads-guilty-of-illegal-street-trading-and-collections-in-the-city/
    • The Government has set an ambitios target to build 1.5 million new homes bu the end of this 4 year term. Possibly unachievable due to various issues in the building industry but ambitious none the less.  What they seem to have failed to plan for, which was brought home by this year's drought, is adding more inferstructure including Reservoirs, power lines and sewerage treatment centres.  Ate they setting us up for more problems in the future?
    • If you know the layout of the Chequers estate, it is clearly unfeasible and logistically complex to project images onto the facade of the main building. Unless you are the military or something.
