I am recently graduating from University after studying a BA in Media Production and am trying to set up my own Media & Performance agency and production Company giving people in the Arts and Creative industry a chance to get into the business!

As most of you would probably know, it's a hard thing trying to start a business, but my first port of call is to try and organise a Fashion show to showcase the talents of my media and performing teams.

I felt that as someone who lives around Dulwich which is full of hardworking independent business owners. It'd be a great way to come together as a community!

I am more than happy to answer any questions, but what I am specifically looking for is a Good cheap venue to use, and maybe anyone who would like to lend their services (Food & Drink) to the event and maybe even help sponsor it .

I'd be happy to promote all those who help out and make sure they are advertised on my social media and website (when it is up and running).

Current details of show: (Subject to change)

1hour

10 Models

5 Fashion Designers

2 Bands/Singers

200-300 seats

Photographer

Film Crew

Hair & Makeup artists

    • Yes I agree, that's why I specifically said "re the wildlife"!
    • Maggie Browning a DH councillor recently had a baby and I believe plans to return to work. I think that to have the additional stress of  being a councillor, a new mother and having a job is a good reason for not standing again. Maggie was one of the few labour councillors who were approachable, acted on your behalf in regards to several concerns and appeared at various public events i.e Police SNT Meetings, community events etc. Have met one of the new prospective councillors and introduced her to various community based organisations.
    • Hello, I’m currently looking to buy Jellycat soft toys and LEGO sets for my children. If you have any available for sale, please feel free to message me. Thank you!
    • Useful link, thanks. I see that neither of the Dulwich Hill councillors are standing again but one of the new Labour candidates for DH recently left the Lib Dems… The Greens are led by someone who left the Lib Dems and full of people who left Labour. Reform is full of those who left the Tories. And the Tories are full of those who left our planet some time ago. Confused? You will be!
