Yes Dave, it was down near the station, facing up the hill, (i.e. parked in the direction of traffic in one of the outlined spaces, half on the pavement.) Have parked there countless times without issue, (never again though) apart from the occasional spattering of white stuff that seems to appear from time to time.

(I think there's been a thread on the random white stuff before, but it looks like a flock of giant pigeons with dodgy tummies have flown over.)

And the speed cushions seem to be a double edged sword, they do seem to slow people down, which is good, but they now encourage sudden darting into the middle of the road in an attempt to drive over them square on, which seems to increase congestion in certain places, which increases some peoples frustration, which results in some driving faster and revving harder between humps...

Logic in that?

    • When you dig into the site, there's an ancillary domain also involved in the system: neighbourhoodalert.co.uk;  and one pointed to by the latter as an example, stayintheknow.co.uk, which seems to have been set up by Lancashire.  All three long validated by Nominet and with same registrar.    metengage_etc_whois.txt

Jan was friendly, prompt and informative throughout the process. He accommodated our requests and left the repair site spotless.  His mobile is 07905950686.
