Hi there, Are there any council leaseholders out there who are members of a local leaseholder association or RTA in the Barry Road neighbourhood, who are affected by Section 20 notices regarding refurbs to the 'decent homes standard'? Was wondering if anyone else was faced with a hefty estimate to replace windows with plastic replacements.

Leaseholders Association of Southwark ("Las 2000") are an excellent group of volunteers who have been nothing short of very helpful and insightful into the dodgy and unprofessional workings (and costings) (and estimated costings) of the Council. I strongly suggest you become a member. ?6 a year or something equally daft.

    • When you dig into the site, there's an ancillary domain also involved in the system: neighbourhoodalert.co.uk;  and one pointed to by the latter as an example, stayintheknow.co.uk, which seems to have been set up by Lancashire.  All three long validated by Nominet and with same registrar.    metengage_etc_whois.txt

Jan was friendly, prompt and informative throughout the process. He accommodated our requests and left the repair site spotless.  His mobile is 07905950686.
