Can't find "we grew up in East Dulwich" on fb. It comes up with "we grew up in..." loads of other places, but not East Dulwich, soI just typed in "East Dulwich", and that didn't come up with it either. What am I doing wrong?! Sorry to be a pain but that page sounds exactly what I want, if only I could find it.

Hmm, I've had a look and it's a "sectret group" so you have to be added by an existing member. I'll ask them if this can be changed, at least for a short period. Bear with me.

Okay, I've posted an edited version of your post above in the group, and asked if they can change the settings so that it will be visable when you search for it.

That was my first thought, but you can only invite people you're friends with, so doesn't work.

Thank you so much for all the effort you're putting in on my behalf. I hope I can be given membership of the group because the comments about John Brewster look really interesting but I'm not going to find out if it's the same person unless I can get in touch with the person who wrote that reply. All of this merely emphasises what I have discovered in my recent visits, which is that East Dulwich folk, recent 'in-comers' such as the youngsters I have met on my visits to EDT, as well as residents closer to my generation, seem to be uniquely friendly and outgoing compared to a lot of the people I've come across in the half a dozen other places I've lived. And the place is now so multicultural, which I also like. Even the football supporters have a unique morality, of which they are justly proud. I hope I can be allowed into the FB group.
