This does affect some of you on the East Dulwich side of the Park and indeed the leaflet mentions The Gardens specifically so dear moderator - please allow this in the ED Issues section. Ta.

Just had a leaflet through my door being the Peckham Rye Safer Neighbourhood Team newsletter, and informing me of the following:

6 May 2009 4 to 6 pm public meeting at Cafe in Peckham Rye Park

12 June 2009 12 till 4pm Community Bus at Peckham Rye Park by Strakers Road (one assumes in the car park).

Presumably the police don't want to the hear the opinions of anyone who has, say, a day job then. :S

Daft comment, of course they do, and I regularly announce the Police Ward Panel meetings, and Community Council meetings, where you can also meet them and go along.

And instead of whinging on here about the times, you could of course email them with your above comments (maybe you already did), on the email address I also usefully gave.

Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

It was just an observation.

One for the unemployed, freelancers, housewives/husbands and people who work from home then.

    • I can do the research but are more people watching cricket on TV now it went to the higher bidder or in 05 when it was on Channel 4?  I think that less kids are into cricket since it went off terrestrial.  I suppose I should have had TMS on.
    • Great finish to today, true Test cricket. India had the chance to kill it off a couple of times, but Carse and Tongue looked far better than I was expecting in a Test situation over the last few days. Still hoping for Jofra and Woody to be back for a couple games each.  PGC, do you reckon this 'Anderson -Tendulkar' series could make Tests a bit more interesting to the wider word? There's still Birmingham, north London, Manchester and south London to go. It's never going to be 'The Ashes', but as a five game series, I genuinely think this might get people a bit more involved.
    • LOL.   Lazy ass people who choose to litter!!!!   Really greenery does not cause anti social behaviour.   But I gotta say thanks for the giggle. You are so on point.   How can we work as a collective to make "The establishment move forward".   Net 0 is coming in fast.   And the only way forward is for everyone to work together
    • That's a gross exaggeration. All of it. But maybe you just intended to provoke that response?
