Wanted - reasonable builder for small ish job

Any recommendations out there for a builder? I've emailed one but it's pretty urgent as we have children going in and out of the house. Basically, slate steps and the mortar (?) underneath and behind has sort of rotted away meaning the big chunks of slate are now totally loose and pretty unstable with buggies etc.
