Found out from a friend that jaflong is byob. So went to give them a try and i can tell you all i was very happy indeed. The food was really tasty and the waiters took the beers from us to put in the fridge and served on the table. They don't charge for corkage either. Worth to give a try
Jaflong is a warm, friendly and welcoming place. I have eaten here on many occasions and have never been disappointed, I take my own alcoholic beverages in here which I purchase from the shop just opposite which saves me money (always a bonus), there is not even a corkage charge. They chill my drinks and serve it to my table whenever I am ready for another and never let me leave without giving me back what ever is left. As I take my family here too they do sell non alcohol drinks on the premises, my daughter enjoys the fruity tasting Mocktails that are made fresh when ordered. Another good thing about this restaurant is that when you order a delivery you get a coupon, collect 15 of these and you get ?25.00 worth of food free. If you have not been here I think you should.

    • Agreed, he should not be held accountable over the mess up over release of prisoners. On the other hand he did himself no favours with his gaffes on the BBC Master Mind programme where he passed on five questions. Where he did answer, here are some of his responses.... When asked who succeeded Henry VIII, Lammy incorrectly answered “Henry VII,” When asked which French scientist won Nobel prizes for both physics and chemistry?” Lammy responded with “Antoinette” When asked which fortress was built to defend Paris and later used as a prison, he answered “Versailles". When asked which variety of blue English cheese is often taken with port, he answered "Leicester" If nothing else he was entertaining.
    • Why do you think he should be toast? All these problems with the prison service apparently go way back, long before Labour took over.
