French student seeking to be an au pair for a family in Dulwich area during July

A French student joined our family as an au pair for 3 weeks in July 2013 and is joining us again this July. It all went very well for him and us so he has asked if we can find a placement in July for his friend, Gregoire, who would very much like to work as an au pair in a family in this part of London.

Gregoire has sent me his cv, but here are a few details: He is 17 and speaks French, English and German. He has been a boy scout for a number of years and recently a chief scout for two 3 week scout camps for 11 ? 16 year olds, and also a rover scout. He is a member of a drama company and has appeared in some films and TV shows. He plays tennis and football. He has travelled to London, South East Asia, Oman, Cuba and Mexico.

He is available from 1st ? 25th July and would like to look after children who he can talk to a lot in order to improve his English.

If you are interested I would be very happy to tell you anything else I know about his experience of looking after young children and I can let you know the terms and conditions we offered his friend. Please PM me and I can call you back. As his friend has become like a member of my family, I want to be sure I can find Gregoire the best au pair position I can.

Thank you for reading this.

    • Called Tessa Jowell GP Surgery today after failing to get two repeat prescriptions from the pharmacy.  When I asked the pharmacy, I was told that they had been requested but not sent by the surgery.  After speaking to the surgery I was told that those two items were no longer on my repeat prescriptions.  I was told I would need a prescription review. Earliest date would be the 22 September.  That is utterly ridiculous.  Surely someone from the surgery should have contacted me to tell me this after requesting the repeat prescriptions two weeks ago.    Also, apparently, there is no point sending an email regarding prescriptions as they are not actioned nor replied to as I have discovered.
    • Erm... guessing it's like any service... so you can receive/be part of something relevant to you in the area where you happen to reside. You don't have to sign up but you might miss out on an excellent Tesco offer or two. 🤷‍♀️

    • happy to buy, but would rather not buy a new one as only need it for a very short time (Hallowe'en). Please let me know if you have one in your cupboard that you don't use.
