Nanny Share available from October in Peckham Rye

Recommended Posts

We are a family with two boys (currently aged 3 1/2 and 19 months) who currently employ an amazing, kind, loving nanny as part of a nanny share arrangement. The nanny share is coming to an end in October as the other family are moving away and our requirements are changing as our youngest son will be joining his older brother part time at nursery.

We would love to keep our nanny so we are looking for a family to share her with. We can be flexible on days, but will need after nursery care (4-6.30 pm) for our children at least 3 days a week. The share would suit a family who are looking for a sole charge nanny (part or full time) but who would like their child to have some company for at least part of the day and to keep the costs down by sharing part time. The nursery is the Villa so ideal location would be the Bellenden Road area of Peckham Rye.

Please PM me for further details if this sounds like it might suit you. I can't recommend our nanny highly enough and we can be flexible so would be willing to work around your requirements.

    • Now I have heard everything…..not send your kid to a school because you don’t like the name - so to get my head around this, if school is outstanding, parents won’t send their child there because of name of school? Or have I not understood?
    • A quick Google says that it is not undersubscribed unlike many subject schools so those claims mentioned above may not be true. Last Ofsted was good.  You are definitely right about the money. This is what trusts do. Remove word ‘subject’ above Remove word ‘subject’ above I can’t edit my ridiculous errors but would like to apologise  for messy post
    • I have heard claims that people don't send their children there because of the name of the school..?  I genuinely cannot get my head around this one. The school is named after the road it is on which is named after the history of the area!  'Grove Primary School' is potentially the most boring name they could have come up with, and for a school struggling financially, is rebranding the school really the best use of funds?
    • Certainly unique, can't argue with that.
