This is a Spanish made ADMIRA ADVILA ACOUSTIC


?279.49 OVNO


4/4 SIZE. SPRUCE TOP. AFRICAN MAHOGANY NECK. ROSEWOOD BACK AND SIDES. EBONY FINGERBOARD. LYRE X GOLD MACHINE HEADS.


A LIGHT, COMFORTABLE, AND BEAUTIFULLY BALANCED GUITAR WITH A WELL ROUNDED TONE.


HARDLY USED AT ALL SINCE NEW. NO WEAR ON FRETS OR FINGERBOARD.


ONLY EVER KEPT IN ONE INDOOR ENVIRONMENT. HEIGHT OF STRINGS AT 12TH FRET = 4MM. NO SCRATCHES OR BREAKS IN FINISH.


COMES WITH STAND IF REQUIRED. CURRENTLY STRUNG WITH X3 STEEL AND X3 NYLON STRINGS.


ADMIRA IS A WELL KNOWN MAKE AND THIS IS A VERY GOOD QUALITY GUITAR FOR PERFORMANCE OR FOR PERSONAL USE. USEABLE IN CLASSIC, SPANISH OR POP/FOLK SETTINGS.


AVILA MODEL WAS LAST PRICED AT ?475 NEW (mrp) IN 2014, BEFORE THEIR CATALOGUE CHANGE. I BELIEVE THAT THIS REPRESENTS GOOD VALUE FOR A VERY GOOD, HARDLY USED GUITAR.

    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
