silverfox
A marquee wedding in a 100ft Dulwich garden. Why would anyone want to do this? Surely the marquee would take up most of the garden. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/environment/article6306615.ece Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6324-credit-crunch-absurdities/ Share on other sites
Marmora Man
You seem to have a picked out the least interesting line in the article. The effective "terrorising" of the old lady on a Peckham estate and the apparent inability of the noise patrol to achieve anything more positive than a, very, temporary abatement was the most shocking element of the story. silverfox
True Mamora Man. It just struck me as odd, when I read the article first thing this morning, that not only was the marquee a bit of a social faux pas but it was bound to lead to complaints. My old grandad used to say "an ounce of breeding is worth a pound of feeding" Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6324-credit-crunch-absurdities/#findComment-202758 Share on other sites
Brendan
I know MM it makes you spit blood doesn?t it. When I read things like that I tend to lose any sense of due process and just want to wade in and crack some of the skulls of the worthless filth in this world that masquerades as humanity. Which is probably why it?s a good thing I don?t work in law enforcement.
