COur beautiful flat is available to rent from August. It is situated in a great location and is a 10 minute walk to Peckham Rye station with both national rail services to Victoria, London Bridge and Kings Cross stations as well as the London overland service.

It is just off Peckham Rye Park with close proximity to the well-known Rye Hotel pub, the Pedlar restaurant, as well as various supermarkets and caf?s. There are many day and night buses that run to all the main London destinations. The flat is positioned on a quiet street with similar Victorian properties and the neighbours are wonderful.

Property details:

The flat is a first floor flat within a Victorian terrace house, there is 1 large sized double with built in wardrobes and storage, 1 smaller room that has been used as a guestroom with a double sofa bed, and a study/baby nursery. A large eat in kitchen with ample cupboard space and built in appliances including induction hob and dishwasher. The flat has been recently renovated and is decorated in a neutral pallet throughout. We have loved living in our flat and hope to find tenants that will look after it and treat it as their own home.

Hello,

We are a professional couple (a teacher and insight analyst) looking for a flat to rent. We need to move out of our current flat at the end of July and your house looks promising.

We have a few questions. Firstly, is it on a main or busy road? Also, the flat is above our budget; would you be prepared to accept an offer?

Best,

Tawanda and Beatrice

Hi,

The flat is on a quiet road just off Peckham Rye park. It's a pretty road with other Victorian properties. With regards to your budget we would consider sensible offers.

Hope this helps. If your still interested and would like to look around get in touch.

Thanks

    • How about trying the upstairs of some local pubs like EDT? They prob won't stay open until wee small hours but worth a try... or night at Rivoli Ballroom Catford (too old?!) or somewhere up in town for drinks rather than hiring somewhere.
    • Sadly crime does seem to be going up in terms of opportunists and street crime / bike thefts etc. Lack of CCTV in this area means it's more of a target than some neighbouring areas according to police (when they sent victim support round after our car had its catalytic converter stolen twice in 6 months by organised gang complete with balaclavas, iron bars and a chainsaw.. driving a 4x4). Crime still relatively low by some parts of London standards but a worrying trend if burglars are trying their luck when people are actually home. Wonder what local police/ MP thoughts are in terms of whether they could organise more community policing patrols. I read a woman was punched in the face on/near Lordship Lane in an unprovoked attack a week or two ago. Terrifying.
    • We had shutters and roller blind supplied and fitted by Affordable Shutters when we first moved into our house in 2012 and highly recommend them. One of the poles and a couple of shutter staples recently came loose and they scheduled in a visit when they were in the area at no charge. Lovely customer service, great quality, honestly cannot fault their service (shutters are made to measure so you have to wait but they're worth waiting for). https://affordableshutters.co.uk/
