Having graduated with a degree in Fashion Design, Zoe went on to work in the fashion industry in various roles. The distaste she developed for mass-produced clothing and production practices fuelled her growing passion for creating her own clothing by hand and she set up a now successful sewing blog that has an emphasis on sewing sustainably with style. Currently she teaches sewing, dressmaking and refashioning skills, develops her own sewing patterns and runs a regular contemporary craft market called Brighton Craftaganza. She's also the creator of the popular online challenges called Me-Made-May, which ask sewers/knitters/crocheters/refashioners to wear their hand-created clothing every day for a month with the aim of encouraging people to bring the DIY and handmade ethos into their everyday lives.
