Any art students want to paint tenants hall ,may be a group of you with space time could help us brighten up the hall . There is a kitchen, hall way,main hall and 3 toilets . Community based, so for free if possible, cake tea etc and fun to be had by all giving Elmington community a base . For bingo, meeting, hall hire . Get in touch if you can help or better still organise, free canvas . Carol

  They are. We are back to the same construction racket 8am-8pm every day for the whole of this week. The wall is one of the last things to come down, probably on Saturday.   @Rockets be a sweety and stop using the large font, it's annoying and I expect most can comprehend. Still not sure how this festival affects you. Or is it a case that you just like taking on causes

  It is intimidating looking through the book sections now. I sometimes wonder if they're stocking bookshops' remainders. OTOH, when I put some books out in a cardboard box for taking, it was encouraging to see that a fair proportion of those taken were aged hardbacks.
