Investigating childcare options for my son about to attend St Anthonys nursery in Sept

Hi

My son will be attending St Anthony?s nursery from Sept 11th in the morning session and I am investigating childcare options.

I am interested to speak to anyone with thoughts or suggestions on the following options:

? 4 day week nanny share based at other families house . Is any other family looking?

? 4 day week child-minder

? Someone looking for a part time role and who can pick up my son from school at 11.45am 4 days a week and walk him 15 mins to his existing childcare arrangements. I am thinking this will suit someone who is seeking a Mothers helpers role or an Au Pair looking for additional work.

Thanks

Sarah

    • if you only want results and your kid can deal with it, go for a Charter School. If you want them to be happy and not in isolation day after day after day, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Clean, rigid plastic pots (tubs/trays) are accepted, but soft plastic pots should be taken to a local supermarket drop-off point" B&Q take as well https://www.diy.com/responsible-business/community/community-re-use (I've just found much of this out) Or you can make little men
    • Can they be recycled? I didn't know that. I've tried to give them away in the past. One community garden took a load one year, but I haven't had much luck otherwise. People are probably trying to get rid of their own 🤣 I don't know why nurseries don't use biodegradable pots, but I suppose it's because they would biodegrade before the plant reached the plant centre/retailer and then the gardener at the end of the chain.
