I would highly recommend Silvano (+44 7702 615834)as a driving instructor to anyone. I found his teaching methods very clear and precise. This coupled with his huge amount of patience made every lesson I had with him extremely effective and informative.

He was always very thorough and helpful, answering any questions I had and using potential road scenarios to explain his answers further. He always made me feel at ease and comfortable when driving which is something I really appreciated and is key to learning effectively.

Finally, I would like to mention that he was extremely reliable, always sticking to the time and date we agreed on and never cancelling or arriving late.

I really enjoyed my driving lessons with Silvano, and I would highly recommend him as a driving instructor. He was incredibly patient with me every lesson. Silvano?s wealth of knowledge and experience makes him a very valuable instructor and was essential in helping me pass my test.

Even when I found driving difficult, Silvano always found a way to explain things clearly. He was able to identify my weaknesses and always tailored our lessons around focussing and improving on those weaknesses which helped build my confidence in driving.

I would highly  recommend Silvano as a driving instructor, he is patient and has lots of knowledge about safe driving. He basically dismantled my driving and taught me everything. After 5 attempts( not with Silvano) at the driving test I finally passed today. Thanks again Silvano

If you are looking for an experienced driving instructor (automatic driving) then I would recommend Silvano Bozza.

Silvano is a very patient and thorough driving instructor who always seeks to help his learners to become the safest, most competent drivers possible.

He also has plenty of good driving related stories to tell from his own past driving experiences which he sometimes uses to illustrate key learning points during lessons.

I warmly recommend Silvano to anyone who may be seeking a driving instructor at this (or any) time in the future.

I’d also happily recommend Silvano to anyone looking to learn on an automatic. I’ve just passed my test on the 1st attempt thanks to him. He was incredibly thorough in his approach, and he took safe, defensive driving very seriously. He always made the effort to reschedule lessons when unexpected things came up, and he always arrived on time and never finished early! Never cancelled a lesson unexpectedly either. I am (or was) a very nervous driver but he made me feel at ease when behind the wheel. Overall a really good, reliable instructor that’s hard to find these days!

I would 100% recommend Silvano for anyone looking to learn to drive for the first time or refresh their skills. I took lessons with him after not driving for over a decade and Silvano got me back to driving confidently much more quickly than I thought possible. He’s super friendly and a great & patient teacher. Couldn’t recommend him more!

Great instructor. Patient and thoughtful. Don't think he ever expressed any irritation even when lessons became stressful. Teaches you to be a good, considerate and safe driver, quite as much as how to pass the test. Good value for money too. Highly recommend.

    • Hello,  I feel as though our apartment is damp. I would like to borrow a dehumidifier to ascertain whether it is or not. Does anyone have a dehumidifier that I could borrow for a week?  thank you,    Brigid
    • Post much better this Xmas.  Sue posted about whether they send Xmas cards; how good the post is,  is relevant.  Think I will continue to stay off Instagram!
    • These have reduced over the years, are "perfect" lives Round Robins being replaced by "perfect" lives Instagram posts where we see all year round how people portray their perfect lives ?    The point of this thread is that for the last few years, due to issues at the mail offices, we had delays to post over Christmas. Not really been flagged as an issue this year but I am still betting on the odd card, posted well before Christmas, arriving late January.
    • Two subjects here.  Xmas cards,  We receive and send less of them.  One reason is that the cost of postage - although interestingly not as much as I thought say compared to 10 years ago (a little more than inflation).  Fun fact when inflation was double digits in the 70s cost of postage almost doubled in one year.  Postage is not a good indication of general inflation fluctuating a fair bit.  The huge rise in international postage that for a 20g Christmas card to Europe (no longer a 20g price, now have to do up to 100g), or a cheapskate 10g card to the 'States (again have to go up to the 100g price) , both around a quid in 2015, and now has more than doubled in real terms.  Cards exchanged with the US last year were arriving in the New Year.  Funnily enough they came much quicker this year.  So all my cards abroad were by email this year. The other reason we send less cards is that it was once a good opportunity to keep in touch with news.  I still personalise many cards with a news and for some a letter, and am a bit grumpy when I get a single line back,  Or worse a round robin about their perfect lives and families.  But most of us now communicate I expect primarily by WhatApp, email, FB etc.  No need for lightweight airmail envelope and paper in one.    The other subject is the mail as a whole. Privitisation appears to have done it no favours and the opening up of competition with restrictions on competing for parcel post with the new entrants.  Clearly unless you do special delivery there is a good chance that first class will not be delivered in a day as was expected in the past.   Should we have kept a public owned service subsidised by the tax payer?  You could also question how much lead on innovation was lost following the hiving off of the national telecommunications and mail network.
