Local Housekeeper needed in afternoons at house near Dulwich Park

We are looking for a trust-worthy self employed housekeeper local to Dulwich area to run a busy household. Main duties include cleaning house, washing and ironing, some shopping, dry cleaning and other occasional tasks, making tea for children aged 11 and 13, taking children to local after school activities. NB : no school drop off or pick up required.

Salary : negotiable depending on experience.

Start date : 1st September although we can be flexible on this.

Hours : 2pm to 7pm Monday through to Thursday, sole charge, permanent position. We can be flexible on hours with minimum requirement of 4pm to 6pm.

Other : driver preferred.

Benefits : 5 weeks holiday (but usually more)

Ideal candidate should have previous checkable experience in private household and provide references and a police check, must like working with older children, be hard working and self motivated, be a good cook, punctual, reliable, tidy and organised, have a flexible approach and a kind attitude.

This is primarily a housekeeping role with some childcare duties rather than a nanny role.

    • I wanted to just add that my experience has shown me that fitness classes aimed at an older demographic are often nowhere near as good or as much fun as those aiming at all and sundry.. most classes I've been to NOT aiming at 'Middle aged' people have had such a mixed bag and everyone does what they can at their own pace and this is encouraged. Do give it a go.
    • Greens have some mad polices and I am still trying to work out if it is true that the leader of the party thought he could hypnotize women to have larger breasts 🤷‍♂️ country is in a real state at the min and all party’s have a part to play in that. what the future holds who knows but it is worrying.
    • A stellar win for the Greens in Gorton and Denton, no doubt. But by-elections are funny beasts. Labour's strength traditionally has been in its ground game. Legions of canvassers over many years in many seats usually means that they are best placed to 'get out the vote' on election day. I can't quite believe that the Greens have enough data, or people, to wrest control of the council from Labour.
