GMRowbotham is a rare and very private service that allows women to engage in, invest and resolve their fashions with our made-to-meausure, client only/appointment only consultations, and without the stress of the high street retail or the uncertainty of online shopping. A true couture experience.

So far we have remained small and always exclusive to select boroughs and neighbourhoods, however this year we have had great interest from investors and are now expanding with studios and showrooms opening in the north and south of UK.

Experienced womenswear dressmaker/tailor offering a made-to-measure service, creating original pieces for occasions or wardrobe investment. An exclusive feel for an affordable price.

- Well versed in the core skills of couture sewing and dressmaking.

- I have a strong background in alterations, garment fittings and fashion design.

- Mentored in Haute Couture in both Paris and London, I am detail-orientated and dedicated to surpassing customer expectation, from 'on-show' decorative techniques to the discreet modifications that enhance the wearer's experience. I always find that the extra steps taken are cumulative and serve to produce a more superior product.

    • Well I don’t approve for a shop doing the same food to open so near - just wrong in my opinion. Why not go to the village, Peckham - foot fall would be great in Peckham and certainly more multi  cultural than ED. Village has money but doubt foot fall would be as good as ED.  At least they could have gone to the stretch leading up to Peckham Rye or why not bottom of Barry Road?? Or even North Cross Road I for one, on principal won’t be going in.
    • Heh yeah haven't even bothered to remove the emdash. The OP is AI slop as well.
    • The street directory is on Ancestry and you'll need a subscription to access.  It's reasonably easy to navigate though you have to find the page you're looking for by a combination of trial and error/guesswork.  https://www.ancestry.co.uk/imageviewer/collections/61265/images/47056_263021009499_1592-00159?usePUB=true&_phsrc=Soz1793 There is though also a general search page for London directories where the street name can be entered in the keyword field and results will take you to the specific pages. https://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/collections/61265/
