maxi scooter stolen - where would it go

Any ideas where I would look for a stolen maxi scooter. Would it have been done to be used locally or further afield? Any been scanning forums but no joy. Was taken from school in HOP, crossed wires with school pickup we are not 100% but was probably left in grounds overnight.

It's not really the cost, I am just annoyed. It is red, has superhero stickers on handlebars, and his name written underneath, also took his blue helmet - also with stickers..
