Here's 30 Goodrich Road from 2012 - so go figure !

Right Move's archived record - it's a very tidy immaculate house at 130 sqm so would have thought this would be over a million at the peak.

I've tried this but it doesn't seem to work now maybe someone else knows how to manipulate RM to get asking prices.

I think the old houses can be really drafty and damp and are often overpriced as people don't really know what they're getting and the cost of 'on-work'

Funny what people will pay for. There's some psychology in telling people that's what other people do..... leads to all strange behaviours.

If its a modern conversion you'd be lucky not to pay over ?1m... id think?

I agree though this will vary on specific location (proximity to the station, schools, the high street etc), decorative condition, if the side return has also been done, general size, and garden size quite considerably.

    • Nothing I can see to the contrary on the Companies House website.  But their licence expires in four days, so you might want to check that  some time.  https://environment.data.gov.uk/public-register/scrap-metal-dealers/registration/E5019-879385-S/
    • Maybe, as there are 7 of them, the front one could be Chris Adams and they are here to save the East Dulwich townsfolk from the gang of bandits led by Calvera 😅 Although I suspect that there maybe a problem further up route and they are waiting for it to clear.
    • Is GH Metals Ltd. still trading? I have tried all 3 phone numbers, but nobody is picking up.  If closed, any recommendations for other scrap metal merchants near by?
    • It's great that the relatively new type garden bags seem to be a lot bigger than the old ones, but has anybody else found that they disintegrate in the rain? I have two full ones in front of my house (too small to call the space a garden) and  they both  seem to have developed large holes when they got wet in the recent heavy rain. They mostly have prickly rose prunings in, which doesn't help.
