Hello

I posted a similar question a while back for a 4 year old and got some fab ideas. I am hoping you can help me. I need to buy something for a lovely strong minded 6 year old girl. Any suggestions would be great. She likes crafts but I think she has felt. bead and sewing kids already. I was sort of thinging something nature related?

Thanks in advance

Catherine

Insect Lore Butterfly Garden from Amazon. You get a butterfly keeping net and a voucher to send off for live caterpillars, when you are ready for them (you need to pay extra p&p for this ?3ish so you might want to also include). When the caterpillars come they are in a jar with enough food. You watch them grow and when chrysalis's transfer to the net. Give them fruit and sugar water for a few days when they hatch and then release. Fab.

Or these plastic tat things called Shopkins that many kids are in to.

Or Hama beads - plastic but creative.

Or felt tip pens and colouring / activity books.

    • Thanks penguin  always wondered about that place and that’s way more info than I ever thought I would get  (used to live above a gun nut on friern road - he would tell me nothing)
    • There was a Saturday afternoon crowd of enthusiasts, and at other times the owner might have been off acquiring stock. He also repaired air guns, which he also sold. He stocked edged weapons, uniforms, including antique uniforms, air guns and ammo and starting pistols and shot. Some medals and other militaria. Quite a lot of ex service chit chat on a Saturday. I had an amateur interest, didn't deal a lot, in English pattern swords and other mainly 19th century militaria. And made some good purchases there. I'm afraid WWII and later events was the major focus of most of the regulars.
