Nanny Share Advice

Dear Forumers,

I am seeking some advice about nanny shares. I have twins and am looking at four day childcare options for the Autumn (starting ideally October). I would be really interested in a nanny share, but I wanted to ask your advice about whether its possible with twins, if anyone has any experience of organising - or if indeed anyone would be interested!

Thanks everyone.

Sarah

I've worked in a nanny share for 5 years with 2 families! It was my first and I would definitely do it again! I started with 1 child from each family and with a year younger sibling came. Both mums went to back to work when the younger ones were 1! They are best friends and like sisters to each other! Not the same as twins but if you get the right famy and nanny it can definitely work! Our share finishes in September as they are all going to school full time but one family would like to keep me for after school and holiday care. Let me know if this interests you.

    • No problems... That number of vans would be consistent with football issues. And if it had just been one vehicle I might have considered the timing was consistent with rushing to get back for refs - when I worked in the City the 4.00pm siren rush to Wood St nick was a regular occurrence. But 5 in convoy?!
    • could be related to the three arrests yesterday.   Without knowing, it is just speculation   "All three men were arrested on suspicion of assisting a foreign intelligence service, contrary to section 3 of the National Security Act (NSA), 2023 and they were taken to a police station in London." • My apologies. The timing of your original post suggested it was after 6pm, which would fit with them herding away supporters onto the train at London Bridge and trying to get to Selhurst station to escort them to the ground.
