Stephen Hendrey thinks it's as good as over before the final even starts. Alan Medic
I but a few pence on Moth EW on the basis that you don't pay ?30k to enter a horse unless you're pretty sure of it. Alan Medic
I still won as I backed it EW. Given the prizemoney I guess 3rd place would be at least ?30k? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6740-betting-matters/page/60/#findComment-642223 Share on other sites

red devil
When you log in, you should be taken to a summary page of all the Telegraph Fantasy games. Under the blue banner 'Telegraph Fantasy Racing', click on 'select a stable'. You can have 3 stables for free... Alan Medic
Ah, I though it related to being able to change your trainers and/or jockeys. I don't want another stable if that's what it is. Just interested in learning a bit. Does that mean you are stuck with the same riders/trainers for the whole competition? red devil
No, from the website 'How to play'...At the end of each Mini Series, you will be able to change your Jockeys and Trainers. Two changes are available in between each Mini Series making eight changes in total during the gameI think the first Mini Series ends at the end of May (last race 31st May), but I'm not 100% certain, just guessing as I haven't seen a definitive list. I'll have another look later... Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6740-betting-matters/page/60/#findComment-647751 Share on other sites

Alan Medic
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22596125Interesting stats on the PL season. Lawro did better than the bookies though it was close. If you bet ?1 on the bookies lowest odds for each of the 380 games you would have lost over ?28. They correctly predicted just over 52% of results which means they were wrong with almost half of them. What's the moral of the story? ????
That the average punter is wrong on way more than 52% of results.Had a small one on Dortmund on Betfair, better than 7/2 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6740-betting-matters/page/60/#findComment-648714 Share on other sites

red devil
I would join in if there was something like the Six Nations League. The good thing about the Telegraph is that it takes all the hard work out of the scoring/tables. The deadline for applications is Saturday. I'll post something in the Lions thread and see if it drums up any interest...
