Hi all,

I have rooms available in a 3-bed flat on Grove Vale SE22. 2 minutes' walk from East Dulwich Station (with regular trains to London Bridge & Victoria); short walk to Denmark Hill (for Kings X & the City). Large lounge, all mod cons - and a brand new kitchen. I've attached a few photos, which should give you some idea of the place, but previous tenants were there for a number of years, and were sad to move on - which is as high a recommendation for a flat (and landlord) as you're likely to find. Sorry, no students or DSS tenants - letting only to a family or sharing professionals. Non-smokers only, too, thanks - and no pets (crikey, getting fussy now!)

NB: If you're an agent, it may be in your best interest not to trouble yourself contacting me, as I am at least 3.5 times more likely to hurl abuse at you as I am to avail myself of your services. Available immediately (that's the flat, but the abuse can be too) on a 6/9/12 month agreement. Zap me a PM with your email/phone details to arrange a viewing.

UPDATE: the largest room is now taken.....

Gabe

    • WoW Sue, all guns blazing.
    • So you don't feel safe in London, but you don't want to live elsewhere? What do you do, barricade yourself in your home and never venture out? I have my eyes (sic)  open. Yes there is crime in London. That doesn't make London "lawless".
    • Well good for you, I don't feel safe. And saying why don't I go and live somewhere else is crass.  Yes London is lawless, open your eys and see the reality.
    • Also, as discussed on another thread, that particular  assailant was possibly (we don't know)  mentally ill. Whereas I'm guessing most crimes locally are   committed for money, (ie things that can be sold, or in hopes of insurance money), food (if someone is really desperate, or to sell) or just pure mischief (like the recent goings on on Peckham Rye). I'm a 76 year old woman, and I feel safe on the streets, and I frequently go to Central London. If you seriously don't feel safe living here, why on earth don't you go and live somewhere else?! It's absolute nonsense to say London is lawless, and it's absolute nonsense to say the police stand by and do nothing. There will always be crime. It used to be cutpurses and highwaymen. And organised gangs of thieves. And people like Jack the Ripper.
