I wondered if anyone knows of Afterschool provision for years 7, 8 and 9? Most providers stop at the end of primary school and I don't really want to use a nanny or childminder. My daughter likes being with a larger group, with space to run around and structured activities.

Any advice appreciated.

Are there any after school clubs at their secondary school? many schools have 'homework clubs' I do not know anyone who has a child minder for after school secondary age children. Most kids this age take turns in going to each others homes for a couple of hours

    • Thanks ianr. So no mention of either Tesco  or October? So we are no further forward with knowing when the Tesco will actually open? The place seems to have been empty for ages. I would have thought Tesco might have wanted to be up and running in time for Christmas, but maybe that isn't relevant to a relatively small Tesco Express? ETA: The wonders of the space bar, eh? It took me more  time than it should have done to see the difference between the two addresses in your previous post!
