A tree has been shorn of most of its branches which have been dumped on the pavement at the junction of Goodrich and Landcroft Roads.

I have reported it to the tree dept. at Southwark and to James Barber. (Both email addresses pinged me back saying they were on holiday, so I forwarded to the replacement addresses and will follow up with a call to the tree dept. later.)

Turns out the tree that was cut down was on private property - the tree that looked like it had been hacked was simply a very unhealthy looking specimen!

The cutters, however, did leave their branches on the pavement - not recommended. The council came and took them away.
