Overnight babysitters?

Recommended Posts

Hello....I'm writing to see if anyone is available for overnight babysitting?

I am a part-time shift worker and single parent and may soon need someone to sleep at my house in Camberwell whilst l go to work. The hours would be 8pm till about 8am, but my daughter - who is four - would be asleep by 8 and dosn't usually wake till about 7, so it's mainly a case of being in the house in case she wakes etc...and getting up with her, giving her her breakfast and waiting for an hour or so until I get home in the morning.

I do four shifts in a row, so I would need someone who would be prepared to stay over four nights in a row and these can sometimes be across weekends.

Does that sound like something that you might do? And, if so, how much would you charge?

Please get in touch.....I'm at the 'enquiry' stage bit would welcome the chance to speak to interested people in more detail.

Thanks

Jessica

    • But people getting up for work or if they’re a carer having to get up after a few hours sleep would know it’s gone 11pm as they’re kept awake by selfish people!
    • I agree. Midnight I can understand when it's celebrating the start of a new year (under whatever system) but not otherwise. Though re the wildlife, it's going to affect them whatever time it is, I don't suppose they know it's gone 11pm!
    • Looking for someone naughty on the ground? What other reason would there be, if it hasn't landed anywhere?
    • Yes I get your gist, but maybe you could just name a few of the very many you mention? I'm not sure why you find it very concerning that somebody would leave Labour for the Greens? So have many people, including me.
