Cat Fostering or Adoption

Hi

I am looking for someone to temporarily foster my 2 cats for 6 months or a new home with cat loving people.

I am unfortunately having to move out of my present home and am having to move to a much smaller flat with no outdoor space on the 3rd floor, as we have 2 small babies they will be limited to the sitting room and hallway which will not be enough space for them.

My 2 boys are 9 years old and are use to being outdoors, both are very friendly and are good companions.

This has been a very difficult decision to make and I would like to do what's best for them and give them the life they deserve, ideally I would like to foster them for 6 months as our move will be a temporary one. If a foster home is available I would cover all costs.

If you are seriously interested please PM me and I will send you a photo.

Many thanks

LD

Hi

Having received lots of feedback with regards to cat fostering and how many feel that it would be too difficult due to getting too attached to my boys which I fully understand.

Regardless of how I feel and what I want I need to do whats right for them and if they were fostered with a family that cared for them greatly and they were happy I would rather leave my boys to be happy than to move them to another new home; their happiness is paramount.

If you feel you would like to foster my boys with the option of adopting at the end of the 6 months please do get in touch.

Many thanks, Lesley

    • How long is a piece of string?  Depends whether you are building 'new towns' or brown field urban sites. I expect developers, planners and builders know far more than we do.  Where are you getting your information about infrastructure from ?  Your comment on new reservoirs seems more relevant to population expansion and/or climate change.
    • There was a previous thread about them about 6 months ago. Since then, they have been found guilty and fined for illegal street trading and collections in June in the City of London. https://news.cityoflondon.gov.uk/we-r-blighty-pleads-guilty-of-illegal-street-trading-and-collections-in-the-city/
    • The Government has set an ambitios target to build 1.5 million new homes bu the end of this 4 year term. Possibly unachievable due to various issues in the building industry but ambitious none the less.  What they seem to have failed to plan for, which was brought home by this year's drought, is adding more inferstructure including Reservoirs, power lines and sewerage treatment centres.  Ate they setting us up for more problems in the future?
    • If you know the layout of the Chequers estate, it is clearly unfeasible and logistically complex to project images onto the facade of the main building. Unless you are the military or something.
