Adams kidswear on Rye Lane

I know it's Peckham, but still...

When I shopped in Adams childrenswear a couple of weeks ago, on paying I was told there was a problem with their machine. They showed me a 'void' ticket, and then put the payment through again, which then worked.

Just checked my statement. There was nothing wrong with their till. They took my money twice. SOOOOO annoying. No idea if it was an innocent mistake, but my gut instinct says it wasn't.

Be warned.

(and no smarmy comments about shopping on Rye Lane please - I really like it)!

This happened to me in the EDT a few weeks ago. I think it's probably a genuine mistake, they should refund you straight away if you have the void receipt.
