Any recommendations for a good and reasonably priced boiler engineer,

We might potentially have ours changed as part of some renovations that we are undertaking.

Billy Hunter is the man. 07986 296453. I've known him for years and he is the only guy I use when I need gas work done on any of my jobs. He has got lots of good recommendations on here.

We had a new boiler and pressurised tank installed during the summer by ProGas (based in Sydenham) and I really could not fault them.

It was a big job, since we moved the boiler from the cellar and the water tank from the bathroom and put both up in the attic (so lots of complicated pipework). We also moved/replaced some radiators, but nothing phased them. They turned up punctually each day, got on with their work, cleaned up and went home. They were so quiet we sometimes forgot they were there, but the results are great. The system works perfectly.

I got the recommendation of Yen Lin of London plumbing from EDF and also recommend him. I rang at 8am on a Saturday morning and he came straight out and had it fixed the same day for a very reasonable price 07798530265

Another recommendation for Yen Lin - he installed our new boiler last week and did a great job. It was a tight installation which made it tricky but he worked until 8pm to make sure he got it running that day. He is Vailant approved so you get a longer warranty if your installing that brand.
