My "stories/sketches" have been deleted (understand to a point as they were quite pointless) .. as well as a couple of other postings - the "worst pub, swallow tattoo" I merely explained what they represented, sailor, ex -con etc ?? But its okay for others to troll and bully ??? I will not be back.

The threads despite the rambling, incoherent nature were harmless. I guess Admin thought that with so many threads in quick succession we were in troll territory and they were clogging up the forum. Next time Stringvest, just start the one thread - ''Incidental musings of Stringvest''....

To be honest, someone joining and posting 185 times in a week, with the last few posts being long and nonsensical moved them from the "uh-oh, what have we here" list to the "time to take action" pile. As you can see they're not banned but some of the posts have been "trimmed".

    • There was a Saturday afternoon crowd of enthusiasts, and at other times the owner might have been off acquiring stock. He also repaired air guns, which he also sold. He stocked edged weapons, uniforms, including antique uniforms, air guns and ammo and starting pistols and shot. Some medals and other militaria. Quite a lot of ex service chit chat on a Saturday. I had an amateur interest, didn't deal a lot, in English pattern swords and other mainly 19th century militaria. And made some good purchases there. I'm afraid WWII and later events was the major focus of most of the regulars.
    • Did anyone actually venture in to that place? I recall it always being closed/very uninviting!

    • Why would mice move? It’s not so much they move as multiply and spread    copy and paste rather than cut and paste  mice can and should be dealt with.  But not easily or with guarantees  i would say most people in se22 reading this have mice. Whether they know it or not
