Family looking for after school nanny

Recommended Posts

We are looking for after school care for our two eldest girls, aged 7 and 10, two afternoons per week. We would like you to collect them from a local school (10 minute walk) at 3.30, prepare an after school snack and an evening meal for them, maybe help with homework and/or take and collect them from local after-school activities etc, until 6.30/7pm. Please PM if you think you can help and I can provide more details. If you?re interested but would prefer more hours we could also discuss. We are in Forest Hill/Sydenham. Many thanks.

    • If your application is with the DVLA and you haven't been advised by a medical professional not to drive, then you are normally covered by section 88 of the road traffic act. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/inf1886-can-i-drive-while-my-application-is-with-dvla But read it carefully to make sure you.are covered

    • Andy is an absolute star. Have used him for years and he’s become a hugely trusted and valued friend as well as handyman. Always willing to go the extra mile and doesn’t cut corners, but great on pricing. Can’t recommend enough.
    • Surely you are still covered under these circumstances even if you don't have the physical licence? I can't believe you would be prevented from driving? That would be a ridiculous system. I don't recall any delays   when mine was renewed. Why would their medical department be involved if you have no medical issues? Could someone have made some admin mistake somewhere along the line?
