Hi, I need a Handyman for a few hours this Saturday 22nd August, (11 am to 5pm) to do a list of small jobs, for example:

*fill, sand, touch up a few paint chips on door surrounds etc

*Replace strip of mastic along back of sink (about 2 feet long)

*Replace tile grouting along back of sink (about 2 feet long)

* Polyfilla a small hole (about 1 inch), sand & touch up with paint when dry

* Fix couple of squeaky floorboards (Victorian boards)

* Remove paint smears from window

* repair window latch (polyfilla & screw), then briefly sand & re-paint window surround (very small)

* Re-fit one piece of kitchen skirting board (just needs putting back into place)

*Fix dressing table mirror (coming out of its frame)

*Advise on getting rid of water marks on wooden sink surround

*Replace spotlight bulbs in kitchen (need to be the 'heat resistant' type for inside cabinets)

Etc etc

It specifically needs to be this Saturday for a particular reason, so I very much hope you can help please.

Need someone who is a ?solution-finder?, helpful, adaptable, experienced, can bring all their own tools, speaks good English, and who will be happy to pop to hardware shop if necessary to pick up supplies.

?20 per hour Please RING due to short notice & I won't be able to log into email today: 07810 706874.

Many thanks

    • The current crimes from what I hear are phone theft from the person, car theft and tradesman vehicle/tools theft. Plus of course the overall increase in stabbings and shootings across London which are becoming normalised.
    • Whilst clearly 'a crime', I don't think this necessarily sits with the other things you have described. A tragic and awful incident certainly, and dreadfully traumatic to the victim, but not part of any 'crime wave' as such, I suspect. It's the sort of thing which, sadly, can happen anywhere (I, again, suspect).
    • Does anybody have a folding pasting table they no longer need? All the ones I've found online seem to have terrible reviews, mainly due to being unstable,  or else coming apart! I don't mind if it's grubby, I just want it to gesso wallpaper lining paper, for art not walls!
    • Massive thank you to Stephen. Painted our whole house - and got lots of other bits sorted, too. Nothing was too much trouble, everything looks great and all came in on quote. Fantastic. Liverpool fan, but don’t hold that against him. Will 100% use again.
