Anyone else see this offer in the Metro - burger, chips and a pint of Magners for ?5? Some guys from work went last week and the pub in Carnaby St refused to honour the offer as they hadn't been advised of it. We emailed Mitchell and Butler to complain but a week later they have still not responded to it - apart from to say they have had a lot of emails and are working through replying to them!. I see the offer is in the Metro again today. Anyone else tried to claim at O'Neills for this offer?

Looking at today's Metro and it is certainly being advertised with offer available 'til the end of July. With the exclusions of the O'Neill's in Drury Lane, Stanstead Airport and establishments in Glasgow the other places should accept the voucher

      UK Government Consultation on SEND

      I know people won’t have any sympathy but the SEND challenge was brought up when taxing parents who have opted for independent school to meet a child’s SEND needs. Funding crisis is getting worse and the VAT on Education pushed children out of independent schools, now their SEND needs are to be met by the state.

      I completely agree with you - and last night was really terrible where I am. Between midnight and 1am was the worst, where it genuinely felt like a war zone. I had to run out of my house to try and stop a grown man setting them off in open space right by our front doors. In response he went to throw a half lit one at me and then seemed to think better of it. I am so sad at how bad the situation has got here and how selfish people are. Fireworks are bad for the environment and for pets and wildlife, as well as just being unnecessary noise for people too. I have sent an email today to Helen Hayes, which I have done previously on this issue. Would advise anyone to write to your MP to do the same, and to ask them to engage with the debates scheduled for 19 Jan.
