tllm2
Have got a couple of misty/streaky double glazing panels, obviously the whole panels could be replaced, but have recently seen a couple of ads' for companies that claim they can be repaired - this sort of thing.http://www.dgservicing.co.uk/doubleglazing-windows-doors-repairs.php?id=sealed-unitsHas anyone given this solution a try?Unfortunately the windows aren't that old, but the place in Brockley that we got them from is long gone. stevie23b
Can't be 'repaired' must be replaced, but saying that sealed units are a lot cheaper than twenty years ago. Lowlander
Won't work. One way to do it is to take out one of the panes and live with single glazed unit - would look odd though...All units are bespoke so you just need to find someone to measure, make and fit.We found http://www.sdglazing.co.uk/ in Sydenham pretty good (~?150 to replace approx. 1.5m by 1m unit in 2012), and cheaper than any in ED. And they have all the usual trade body memberships.
