Hi,

We're looking for someone caring, reliable and energetic to look after our two lovely boys, four afternoons a week during term time and sometimes more during holidays. The days would be Monday to Thursdays, and we need someone who can start on Monday September 7th.

It would involve collecting our 7 year old and 4 year old from school at 3.30 (school is just a short walk from our house) and staying until 6.45, and occasionally to around 7.30 if I'm away on a work trip. Other responsibilities would include taking them to the park, cooking healthy and tasty dinners, keeping their rooms tidy, getting them dressed for bed, and helping with homework.

We would like someone with a good level of English and are looking for someone who can stay for at least a year and ideally longer.

We're also looking for someone to do four hours housework a week. This could be added to your role, or we could keep the childcare seperate and find someone else for the cleaning.

Please get in contact if you're interested and we look forward to hearing from you.

Many thanks!

Hi, I'm Cristina, I'm from Spain and I'm 23 years old. I'm actually looking for a job as nanny.

I'm already living in London since one week.

A year ago I finished the Degree of Pre-school Teaching and I?m currently studying for the public examinations in Spain, to work as a pre-school teacher or and English teacher. Also I have a certificate in English (First Certificate of Cambridge) and I?m actually studying to get the Advanced Certificate in English.

I was a year between Bradford (England) and Edinburgh (Scotland), studying and performing my placement with young children in different nursery schools.

I have also studied music; I studied piano for five years.

As for my personality, I consider myself a very responsible, orderly, active, outgoing, caring and dynamic person. I like quiet environments, interact with people, enjoy cooking, healthy food, sports, cinema, nature and music. I am not a smoker.

Looking forward to hear from you!

If the council cannot get to side roads perhaps residents could do the bits of road and pavement outside their home. Maybe some roads need a salt box? Cycling in icy conditions is hard enough but the thought of doing it on a Lime bike makes me shudder. Even as a pedestrian it is so easy to slip on black ice.  I hope everyone is wearing good thick gloves and protective clothing and I also hope anyone out there cycling is okay.
