Do not use these end of tenancy cleaners no matter what

Hi SE22ers

So I'm writing this because I wished I was warned by someone about what charlatans these cleaners are. Some people previously recommended these people for an End of Tenancy clean (they lived next to Goose Green like us) but they were just awful.

If you search for end of tenancy cleaners in East Dulwich, they come up.

They also have various alias: www.endoftenancycleaning-london.org.uk www.besthousecleaning.co.uk

www.bestcarpetscleaninglondon.co.uk

They were late, all they did was wipe over surfaces, left the place dirty and the ONE cleaner they sent over was rude and refused to speak English. She also refused to clean caked areas of dirt when I came back to pay.

I sent them video evidence and photos of this and they refused to refund me the money or even to make her do the job. I even have videos showing me cleaning the areas that she should've cleaned. Including the toilet, the shower, the tiles. It as a joke.

I spent days off work and loss of earnings to be there for the cleaner.

Then because our landlord was unhappy we got them to come back. She was 2.5 hours late. She then refused to clean today and swore at me and waved her hand in my face. I spoke to the "head office" on the phone and they refused to refund me the money or make her finish the job.

It's been hell. Utter hell. And I wish no one else have to go through the collosal hassle that my husband and I have had to go through. It was expensive too and in total ?153 with the carpets.

It's not just about doing the job properly. It has added several days or knock on effects of negotiating with landlords, missing work and having to clean ourselves, even though we paid for this service.

If I am allowed to on here, I'm happy to post the pictures and the cleaning pics and videos, including that of me having to clean the counters while the cleaner packed up.

    • I'm interested to know why you say that? They both sell the same kind of thing, they both have own brand products, and unless I've got it completely wrong, they both seem to be trying to attract the same kind of customer? I would have thought a Waitrose and an M&S so close to each other would have split the customer base (?not sure of the correct term) for both of them? People might shop in both, but I'd have thought each store would still lose out on sales?
    • I thought of going to the States for the World Cup.  But I just can't - Trump, the nonsense of entering the States and what UEFA has done to the sport including enlarging the competition and selling out to Gulf/Middle East States has put me off. I found an article on the likely move of some European football overseas which prompted me to start the thread https://thefsa.org.uk/news/uefa-gives-go-ahead-for-overseas-competitive-fixtures/
    • Unfortunately we can see from the history of the Israel -Palestine situation that a peace accord now won't necessarily lead to long-term peace and statehood for the Palestinians. This has been going on for decades, ever since the Palestine authority gave refugee status to Jews fleeing the Nazis in the 1930s and 1940s. Britain has a shameful role in handing the problem on to the League of Nations and since then the world has watched on and done nothing or very little.
