Hello East Dulwich!

I'm offering family photo shoots for ?50. This includes a 1-2 hour photo session in the comfort of your own home or at a location of your choice in the East Dulwich area, including disc of all high resolution images to print and use as you wish.

I have been doing photography for over 10 years now and have specialised in weddings and family lifestyle. I have recently decided to remove my websites for these, but please email me if you would like to see a sample portfolio of images.

I will continue to use my photography services but will not share your personal images on line. They will be provided to you on a USB to use and share as you wish.

Please email me or contact me to discuss your requirements and for more information.

Thanks

Alessandra

Just wanted to add to this thread - I might be biased as Alessandra is my sister, but this really is a great deal with an amazing photographer/artist - I have been blessed to have her document the birthdays and special occasions of all three of my children and I really couldn't put a price on what I have now to treasure as memories - she really has a gift with her photography and also a true affinity with children and getting them to co-operate. Priceless memories. Happy to share any of my beautiful images that she has captured with anyone who is interested.

Alessandra is super talented. ?50 for professional, high quality family shots and some beautiful arty and natural ones thrown in is a bargain - yours to keep rather than being charged extra for copyright, additional prints, etc. We got some gorgeous and memorable pics last weekend in Dulwich Park and had a really fun time thrown in for free. I'd really recommend her and will be going back for work photos next.

I wanted to add a recommendation for Alessandra, she took some wonderful family pictures for us this weekend! She was brilliant with our small children and got the pictures to us really quickly so we have them in time to share with grandparents at Christmas.

I highly recommend Alessandra! She is so professional and was fantastic at capturing both our babies and children at their best. From start to finish she made the whole experience relaxing and an absolute pleasure. We were delighted with our photos. My boys are high energy and typically won?t smile very well, while our newborns were fussing during the session. I was concerned they would look miserable but the results were the polar opposite and fantastic! We had an amazing selection of beautiful photographs. I am still not sure how she did it ? pure magic! I highly recommend you book before her rates increase!

Just to bump this in case anyone wants family or work photography in SE22 as yesterday Alessandra did some work shots for me at home and she managed to make me look professional yet natural, a near miracle as I usually hate having work photos taken. I have plenty of good pics that she chose, edited and sent over to me. Very pleased!

    • This presumably hasn't been done by vandals. It's hardly a Sycamore Gap situation. So if it's been done by professionals, unless it was a mistake (unlikely) there must have been a good reason, as it would have cost money. It would perhaps have been a good idea to put a notice on the tree explaining why such drastic work was done, but usually (I think) it would be either because of disease (often not noticeable on the surface) or that the roots or branches  were endangering nearby structures. As already said, nobody on here is likely to know. The tree department in Southwark Council are helpful in my (admittedly limited) experience. Please post on here when you have found out, as I agree what's left of the tree looks pretty odd. Depending on why the work was done, possibly they intend to remove the rest as well?
    • I have a very stupid question. I want to get a SIM card to put in an old mobile as a back up,  in case despite my best efforts my mobile gets stolen and I have no way of contacting anybody quickly, eg banks. Can I just buy any old cheap pay as you go  SIM card and put say ten pounds on it and it will then be fine for years (with the phone kept charged!) even if I don't use it, or do I have to use the phone  every so often to keep the SIM card valid?
    • I hate to see trees cut down to such an unfinished state. Unless the tree is home to wildlife, an effort should be made to remove & replace. Otherwise, it's just so useless & unsightly.
    • Given the level of care in Dulwich Park, I would not expect this to be careless or unnecessary. It will grow back.
